Sex Toys - Visual Interview
This is a follow up to the article I did on Sex Toys, here a video report and visual interview with Shawna Scott, Sex Siopa owner, Elisa Petrelli, a frequent sex toys user and Yolanda Maguire a former sex toys user.
Again, the approach I was going for was if people are aware of the body safe materials and the unsafe ones.
Stop Motion Animation
In this assignment my task was creating a stop motion animation.
Once I had the idea that I decided upon ready, I began setting up the shot.
I kept doing this until I had the house fully built. Once that was done I moved in the toy trucks slowly so that I could take a picture for each movement and to make it look like its moving.
is much harder than I thought it would’ve been. Now I know how to create a stop motion animation which is something that I can take with me into the future.
My first idea was to write a sentence that said “Don’t worry about a thing
because every little thing is going to be alright” with skittels. I changed my idea bfrom this to building a house out of lego as I couldn’t use the sound that I wanted for the skittels project which was Don’t worry by the legendary Bob Marley due to the fact that there was copyright infringement.
The equipment I used was a Cannon camera, Tripod, Lego, Bluetac and different toys. The first thing I did was stick down the lego board using bluetac. Then I set the camera at the same level as the lego board, once the camera was at the right height and was leveled, I took the first picture and made sure that the lighting was the same.
I began putting the lego down one by one and took a picture of each one after it was put down.
After that, I decided to fully destroy the lego house. I took a picture everytime I knocked down a piece of lego, when this was done I put in a lego person into the shot with their hands up in shock and awe. That was the end of my animation.
The mistakes that I made during this were that I moved the camera at one stage and changed the lighting, when the camera moved it was very hard to get it back in place and I had to redo the whole project so it would look the same. Another mistake I made was not noticing that some of the shots in the original
animation had trucks showing the shot which was also another reason I had to redo the stop motion project.
I learnt from this project that stop motion animation takes a longer time and
All and all I enjoyed doing this project because I got to do something I had seen a lot of before but didn’t realize the patience and passion it takes to do!

Final Cut X Protools
For this assignment, the task was to produce a fusion between using to softwares (Protools & Final Cut Pro) to produce a video with audio that was mixed by myself for a previous assignment.
The topic I chose was The life of Mohammed Ali, a legendary boxing champion.
